Introductory text
Xsara Picasso is all the expertise of Citroën concentrated in its first compact minivan!
It represents the final successful outcome of the Xanae concept presented in late 1994. Unveiled at the Mondial de Paris show in 1998 and commercialised the year after, the Xsara Picasso is resolutely innovative. Recognizable by its characteristic ovoid outline, it stands out from the competition by its large windows, the uncluttered, symmetrical dashboard, generous interior volumes and three rear seats of the same width.
Assembled in Vigo (Spain), produced in China in a specific version and momentarily in Rennes, it is a commercial masterstroke: more than 1,700,000 cars produced in Europe up until September 2010 when its reign is brought to an end by its very worthy successor, the C4 Picasso, at the end of 2006.
